一杯水已能比喻人生

從廚房拿出一大堆杯子擺在茶几上。
這些杯子各式各樣，形態各異，
有瓷器的，有玻璃的，有塑膠的，有的杯子看起來豪華而高貴，有的則顯得普通而簡陋．．．
老師說: 「你們要是渴了，就自己倒水喝吧。」
大家便紛紛拿了自己看中的杯子倒水喝。
老師又發言了！
他指著茶儿上剩下的杯子說: 「你們有沒有發現，你們手裏的杯子是最好看最別緻的杯子，而像這些塑膠杯沒有人選中它。」
老師說：這就是你們煩惱的根源了！大家需要的是水，而非杯子，
但我們有意無意地會去選擇漂亮的杯子。
這就如我們的生活---如果生活是水的話，那麼，工作、金錢、地位這些東西就是杯子，
它們只是我們盛起生活之水的工具。
其實，杯子的好壞並不影響水的品質，如果將心思花在杯子上，
大家還有心情去品嘗水的苦甜，這不就是自尋煩惱嗎？
當我們放棄追尋外在的物欲與享樂，轉而開始追尋內心世界裡的財富時，

Bad Bad Bad Day...

today is a bad bad day..

1st I waited for my dad to be home hoping to get car by 6pm inorder to reach Thank You Dinner at Buona vista by 7..dad called up and say will delay till 6.30pm than can reach home.

than upon reaching, i step into the car, and began driving off ..gear1, Bang..i crash into a car. not crash but i knock into a car tt drove pass me, its my fault as i did not see it at my blind spot..damn..its just like the Pic..but minor damage wan..cuz we are at super low speed..the owner came down and we confronted eachother.But due to both of us in a rush, we exchange number and agree to settle the matter later. his car side got abit of scratches while my bumper there had some paint knocked off..SIAN..

i went to pick ChingTing up and we speed off to Buona Vista..Suppose to go thru BKE to clementi rd..i was too worried about the crashing tt i drove to KJE..wah kao.damn suay..end up i need to do a big round to PIE to clementi rd..

And wats worst.. i missed the exit..and headed to Lonie road. followed by Adams road.. and than to ferrar Rd..than to Commonwealth Rd...to Buona Vista MRT..and chingting counted for me.. 4 U turns i made..cuz i missed the exit...than Uturn..than miss again..

This Road i will rmb for Life..confirm..the whole journey took 1HR 30mins!!!!

Reaching NTU alumni..the guy called me. Luckily he said let the matter ease off..and i apologize deeply. Phew..

only after this, than i peacefully sat down and enjoy the Thank You Dinner..
After that i send my frends back..going back only take 30mins man..
Shall not miss the exit again!..

During ancient time..the Readens are attacking the Sophics. There was a Huge wide thick river surrounding the castle and Sophics are defending, hiding in their castle, while Readens are just unable to breakthru the defence, unable to reach their castle..So the Readens decide to build a bridge and cross over to attack them. when the bridge is built, the Readens march across, due to rush of work, the bridge fall apart and all the soldiers drop into the huge currents..The Sophcis, this time, we ordered to jump down, to save them,bring them back to castle and provide medical care n food,after which, release them back. Days later, when the Readens decide to attack Sophics again, the soldiers felt bad. the Readens have no choice, but to retreat.

Once theres a general who likes to play chess, using his warfare tactics and strategy, he never lose be4 in a game. 1 day, On his way to war, he walked pass a hut and saw a banner, "world CHess Champion". He dun believe and walked in to challenge. 3 rounds, and he won all. Stepping out of hut he said:" looks like u shld burn this banner." and he walk his way to battle. few months after he won the war, he returns castle and notice the banner still up. He walk in and challenge again. This time he lost all 3. The man said,
" that time u are on ur way to war with ur army, i purposely lose so tt u wun feel low morale and can win a battle to defend our land. now that u win the battle, i will not let loose on u"

Sotong, aka Squid. Sprays black soot to escape away from predator/enemy in sea. One day,he was being attack and he did the same thing. Phew, he escaped!. =) But out of the water, from the bird's eye view, the bird notice a black soot and knew there was a squid there, it dash down and caught the squid.

In OCBC building, Singapore. The business is so good, that every morning the 2 lifts, 1 and only 2 lifts are always crowded with ppl. Everyone ended up reaching their office late, rushes for meeting all. So a meeting was held to discuss the solution to this prob. everyone suggested solutions on more lifts, blablabla..everything about lifts..or layout of floor plan. which cannot be done as buidling structure is already fixed. Suddenly came in one latecomer, CEO asked:"how come u are late, just now at the lift wat are u doing?"
He answered " i was fixing my tie,hair blabla and ensure i have a proper tidy image."
the CEO gets it. From then on, CEO put several huge mirrors near the lifts wall. and the complains of ppl waiting..reduced,vanished.

today hall9 celebrate mid autumn festi.. i was saboed by ppl to go challenge eating mooncake.
filled with a pack of big noodles in my stomach already, today i ate another 5 big tradition mooncakes...i fking wanna puke already. even my fart got mooncake smell..i bet tonight i will formed while i slp half way..

A Book

Got this book from my Fren，Qi Min... She knows i read chinese books. Haha.
Its a nice book. Short stories. Relaly short. 5 min can read finish a story.
let me share some which i feel.. . that we shld learn.

观点.
3 of us happen to reach a village. Seeing a mum at the roadside helping her kid to ease of the pain on his head, I told them: They must be mother and son relationship. Both frends agreed n said mum's love is so great,deep.
The next day, we saw another lady also tapping her son's head brushing off the dirt. I jokingly said: She must be the step mother!" Yet, Both frends agree and said: "see how she torture her kid, damn"
我们常常有先入为主的关念。人的身份不一样，议论也不同。

During war season, country is lack of Rice n food. Oneday Mr 孔 walk pass the kitchen and saw his pupils preparing their dinner. When the rice are ready to serve, he witness XiaoLi grabbing a handfull of rice n put them in his mouth. Mr 孔 felt angry. During feast time, at dining table, Mr 孔 pretened and told XiaoLi: since we had our rice just cooked out and its clean, lets offer it and pray to our 祖先 1st.
XiaoLi immdly said: NO Cannot!. Unclean. Becuz just now while cooking a patch of dirt drop into the pot. I grab tt handfull of rice and swollen it away, throwing away is too wasted.
Mr 孔 felt he shldnt hav blame him in heart be4 he asked.
眼睛看到的，未必能全然相信。看人伦事，不能凭一时的印象和主观的猜想！

电梯
A manager is on rush and board a lift. pressed lvl 25 on the lift. Came along a playful Kid who enters the same lift as Manager. Kid pressed ALL the levels from 2 to 25. therefore every single level, the lift stops once, untill it reaches 25. Manager is So furious that he stomp out of the lift at lvl 25. while the kids smile their way out.
One Felt happy while the other felt angry? 搭电梯是这小孩的目的，所以他乐在其中。经理的目的是别的，所以不耐烦。如果人生就像登山。心中只有登到山顶这个目的时，我们就无心欣赏风景了。辛苦奋斗达到目的时，才发现丧失的比得到的还要多。
太过重视未来，往往会忽略现在。

My thought as a student, myself.

Was chatting with one of freshie and was sharing with her my thoughts about life in NTU 5mins, so decide to list it down here be4 i forget..

Everyone can study, and coming to NTU is not about studying only. everyone can get degree, inside n out of NTU. The main thing is: Its about Learning to manage ur time/life, and organise ur piority + social skill. Staying at hall benefits cuz u experience n learn more. At an interview A hav a degree, B hav a degree. but B stands out as B stays hall, B learn to manage/organise its time, work, schedule under crucial situation like near exam period when hall events are still running; which would be a benefit to the company. B holds a degree + stays hall, C holds a degree, stays hall & C Join many hall events/projs/CCA. C stands out as not only C learns management/organising of his own time, he also interact more and master his social + managing human skills; like coordinating with other heads, chair person and witness responsibilities and work load floating around. So since u step into Uni, dun miss the chance to try, be advanturous. dun worry tt u cant study hard or would fail. cuz if u can get in here, means u hav the ability and will be able to do it. everyone are adults here. everyone practices displine & know their limits. So dun be ATs~..

yup, this book isnt about nipples, but all the interesting facts on earth..with absolute scientifically proven answer

this is Bingyu's fav. i have it's book1 also, but lend to fren. I went to my cousin's house, his dad is a CEO, and tt i saw him reading this. so i borrowed and after which, i went to buy them. it teaches u how to survive in a political association. how to back-stab boss tactically. or perhaps how to detect backstabber thru learning those skills..haha. a very powerful book. below are some samples =)

【皮鞋的来历】

很久很久以前，人类都还赤着双脚走路。

This week really super tired..really..
always morning 8.30 class..than lesson end , noon need to go and Man WSC booth in North/south/NTU... than evening go back Hall, and needa go down to WSC HI SS training for Welcome Tea. At night 9+pm come back Hall have to go down to Hall's Dance room and Practice with Hall Pageants till 11+Pm... WEll done Pageants, u guys improved alot, Happy =)

Tired week..really..

today is a shag day. 1pm went to KTv till 7pm and rush back to hall as 8pm we have this Pageant Training till 1130pm. The pageants did great job and improved alot. physically n mentally.

today is the 1st time i scold ppl after for so long,can say years.piss me off only.beach

During training came this girl, shes in our committee too. as Pageant Liason or something..her name is _____. and i know she will not come to my blog n read.cuz she wun know about this address. came in only got tt black face. than talk to me like i owe her life time.i fucking hate ppl who doesnt know how to respect others.so wat if shes a senior.kao
initially asked me wat the pageants wear..
i paused n think..

and back to Singapore le.. 31/7/08..

at Vangvien, we went to a place call...i forget le..but the bridge very nice..hahahhahaa...

yes, dun even blink..cuz its me.. borrowed peter's shade..Wooo.. Loy Lailai!

We had to climb i think 100+ stairs up the small mountain .. haa.a.

YEAH, we had our Lunch at the Organic Farm of VangVien..COol right..

and we visited Victor..opps..i mean The goat..Mehh...

YUp.its raining and we came to a bakery along the Vang Vien street. Coffee,cakes..and the cake i order no one eat wan..tamade..Haaaaaaaahaha

dinner time. we had our dinner at a shop, known as Laos SteamBoat..Wooot..
very nice..and each ppl about $4 only.. cheap like hell.. ok.its heaven over there.haha

This time..we left Vientaine and went to POngSOng Village..
Its a uru area, not as urban as the city. When the night comes, the street is pitch dark with no street lights..but glimmering shines from the stars above us in the sky..So nice..

the students of Xaysettha High school giving us a warm welcome ceremony.. drums and ..u know...hahaha

we had a small conference and all the students sat behine the tables.. listening to the principle's speech.hahaa.. we blend in too.. CMY ellie and melvin..and rachel and kianboon and blablablabla and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

yeah..this is the meeting the speech the talking the many many..

this is the game they play in Laos..very famous.. saw those big metal sphere like balls?.. yeah..hit it and win..damn heavy and.. abit marble style game play..hahhaa

yeah.time to work..the bricks we brought up from ground level to level 2..time to lay the bricks..though its written day 5,6 ..but basically, everyday we are doing construction n teaching. different team doing different job scope..haa..

1. Vientiene (day 1-8)
2. Pongsong Village (day 9 - 13)

Lets begin.. Day 1,2..

we went to Partyworld Ktv be4 we set off to Lavender to KL Airport..haha..

at the KL airport waiting to depart, Sarah shag untill cannot liao..look at the face. haaa..

INtroduction to WSC OVE'08; Laos

Laos = lao people's democratic republic..
capital is vientiane, tts where i went to for the 1st 1 week.
their language are mostly French and Lao + abit thai..
religion is standart, Buddism.
time zone wise is UTC +7. meaning if singapore is 8pm, they are 7pm.
places we covered for 1st week+ is the capital, Vientiane.. following 4-5 days we went is a village called PongSong village. and final last day we travel to Vang Vieng, a tourism area with lots of AngMos..
at vientiane we met several nice lao high school student who accompanied us thru out the week, at night bringing us to nice food place n dine with us.
at pongsong village, we stayed with the villagers and UOL(*university of Laos) students also stay with us and share their experiences with us.they are our interpreter..hahhaa..
be4 we left, they came to Lao airport n see us off also.so nice.
S$1 = 6211 kip..
their plug used is those 2-pin types. european type.
during december is their dry season, and now is their raining season, every night rain..wah kao..haha
well, not much of internet cafe u can find at the village. generally the girls there wore alot to cover their flesh up. and women shld nv touch a monk.
we eat with hands..wooo.. sticky rice.

Yea. Im back to SG. Haa..
too lazy to blog my 14days in Laox..but i know i will. Just give me sometime to pack my feelings down 1st.
Back to Sg since ytd night. everything is different, from red pathmant, reddish muddy floors and streets.. with thick plantation everywhere..
to singapore's cemented road, street lights everywhere n a few artificial trees. big change.
Today i cut my hair, $12.. cheap right..but i tend to convert, hav the habit of converting .. S$12 = 73 000 kip.. imagine to cut a hair at Laos for 73000Kip. WTF.. its more expensive than having a big feast there.. tamade singapore, so exp.
now come back, buy things and eat, everything seems so not worth it. hahaa.
unpacked my stuff and realise a lot of nice cool things i brought back. even a few dead spiders tt got crashed in my bag. stupid. i plugged the cable to the TV and gave a showcase of the 500+ photos and video i took during the trip to my family. shared with them wat i had done n ate.
sat down, clear my Email. check out my electives and reorganise my clothings.
But every now and than, faces of Laos frends and places i went in laos, kept appearing infront of my mind.
i sat infront of my laptop, suppose to do some internet surfing and msning and do lots of watever singaporeans will do usually.
But this time round, doesnt seems right. i dun hav the feel to talk in msn, haaa.. dunno wat to do with internet, the pc seems useless to me. instead, to talk around my house is wat i did the whole day. trying to find things to do tt does not associate with PC.
now i know, slowly and steadily i need some time to get back to SG life. even at this very moment i feel like sleeping. in laos, i will think of wat i will do tml, like teaching the kids AngKid or doing construction or walking around the streets under hot sun and wat clothes to wear to prevent huge sweating all. now nothing to worry, nothing to think. just sleep.
try to compare the night here and there. try to feel the differences n similarities.
indeed, its a huge different. im so bored n empty over here in SG tt i just feel like sleeping.
while at laos, just too excited to sit around n talk, see the stars and play card games. interacting with the laotians and laugh although we dunno wat each of us are talking.
hahaa..
Life in sg just sucks as normal.Wahahahhahaha..
but sooner or later things will repeat as per normal. and schl will start, and i will began to struggle with studies and busy with activities in Hall, and WSC events.

sometime at night silently i will wonder; if i hav a partner to share something, wun it be better too? haa..came back from some big event and hope to share it around to someone, at least somebody in this world knew i achive something and recognised me as a traveller as a learnerd as a blablablablablala.. but of cuz not say to commit in a relationship nor to hav any string attached. but smoethings u just need to share with this someone else, 1 will do. instead of repeating to every single frends around u.cant be finding everyone n keep telling the same things too. they may be busy with their lives also. haa

alright, few more hours be4 i fly to Laos. will meet at lavender Mrt at 11:55pm and ride a bus journey to KL. and from KL shall fly to Laos. Will be back on 1st August. 11pm. Thats life.

So be4 i go. me n melvin decide to make our last day worth while. Today morning we went to find the Project ID SS morning session training. they are doing very well, sycronise and beautifully projected out the feeling of the songs. or am i sedimental abit. anyway, after that we gather ppl and play a round of Pool be4 going to Marina Sq to watch, The Dark Knight. Nice Movie. sorry no spoiler but Joker and 2Face died. Batman as the criminal.
after which we meet up the Evening Grp Projectr ID SS training ppl and had dinner. BOught some energy bar from Market Place to eat if while in laos; if im hungry. after tt went home and continue pack my stuff. nabei super tired. so decide to pack in the morning.

We had a plan, be4 we go to Lavender. Melvin decide to had a session of KTV at 6pm to 10pm at chinatown.
I second it. Woo. 9 of us. this is life man. take care my frends.

FHUuu.. finally finish changing my blog skin. cuz i realise IE browser needs alot of trouble just to view my blog, need to scroll left n right. so to make things simple, just use normal skin.hjaha.
and yes, today is tired. morning wake up go temple, after tt is our HI clementi badminton, i forced ct to go early with me.wahhaa.if not i go there early to pay the cash n sit there wait, no point, cant play.haha. thanks. quite a no. of ppl came today, very nice.haha.played from 1-5pm, despite we booked till 4 only.haha.. while playing ct helps me collect back the cash i paid initially, haha. i ownself also forget le untill she tell me, thanks again. after badm, majority went home, left 5 of us to watch movie, ChiBi. wats so nice about this show is becuz we like chinese history, and we realise something cool, thru out the 2+ hour show, we found a malay calefare acted as soldier inside smiling only. WAHHAA>.. WTF. knn 三国 why got malay wan..nnb..stand there act national day racial harmony day ah.. haaha.

OVE 3Gifts

yeah. these are the 3 gifts we made. today jingyun sarah n emma came over ot my house and made this 3 gifts for the homestay ppl when we are going to Laos, we gonna stay at their house, so inreturn we gonna present them soemthing too. haa. i went to daiso to sort out 2 egg shell like glass mug..and emma when to ikea to buy the mirror. jingyun n sarah came along today at noon n we brought further more paint brushes n materials to deco them. hahaa. . .everything start from nothing, from a plain wooden mirror frame ,we painted it blue n stick shells n sand on it. from a plain eggshell holder we painted designs and arts on it, using brushes and tabbing skill, so call tabbing is using sponge and tab n tab n tab the colours on. haha. this are our achivements from 1-5pm. yeah.short and sweet and nice. proud of it.thanks.haha.

Woo.. today, is the end of my ARMY. OH Yes. Army fk u.Wooo..Happy.
ANyway, after i got my IC i ran off le. as in I go out of camp le, of cuz i cant ran. I proceed to IMM, though i cant walk much, but i hack, bear the pain and stress my leg, assume it will feel the pressure n thus the swollen will reduce..wahhaa..
So at around 11am i got outta camp n go IMM myself, shop alone to look for shoe and i bought a new sleeping bag, indeed $7.55... my main mission is to go Daiso and buy some OVE Precamp materials, for my group to make gifts for the kids in LAOs. haa..
Around 3+4pm i end my shopping. Alone shop also fun.haa..
reached home, took off my shoe and realise my swollen really reduce le. no more elephant foot. abit normal size le.
SO to make it one shot faster recover, my dad suggested me to wrap my leg with: Mee Shua + wine + ginger. this way is to reduce swelling and release the blood cot in the vein. Learned* .haha.
Therefore the above pic represent wat are the ingrediants and the outcome of my leg NOWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......
I bet tml wake up, sure heal le..and by friday, confirm no more swelling,
and sat i can walk to tuition le..
and sunday i can secretly go badminton without telling my parent.
And 18 i shall fly to LAOs..

Ok. no need to say much. take a look at the fuking pic and u know wat i mean. Yes, my leg my shin hurts no more, but yet my ankle swollen instead n become SO BIG. damn how i walk.
i went to polyclinic few days ago right after my PreCamp Trip, the doc too an Xray for me and advise me to rest my leg n eat some pill so tt my shin's bruise will ease off. Indeed, no more pain, but now ankle become bigger n swollen. Why? Cuz previously the swollen and blockage at the shin causes blood flow to travel down to ankle but unable it to travel back up. so now, allthe blood are at the ankle, causing it to become a big bumb. as its cause by blood blockage, i feel no pain also.just tt my leg looks ugly, and i wun dare to walk properly, abit numb my right leg is. suffering man, wanna go out also cannot, wanna sleep properly also cannot. wanna go buy tthings also canot, wanna go camp also canot, wanna sport also cannnnot, even now i hav someproject thingy to do also cannot go out. ARGH. all becuz of tt bugger who hit my leg during soccer. even now at home wanna walk about also difficult, must hop. go toilet my mind also hav to go thru the process of debating n calcualting the distance blablabla..than i decide to walk to toilet. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..
and i can feel the ankle is still growing rapidly, despite the swollen at the shin is reducing..
HOpe by this Sat it can recover. please. i beg to god. (* btw thank u, for whom u r the only one who rmb my leg hurts during the precamp trip n remind me to takecare, xie le '姐' if u read my blog =).. )

tml still need to go camp, AHHHHHhhhhhh. i hate army really.

Yes. im back from my Pre-Camp trips, OVE; Laos.
it begins on Sat morning and spend a night in NTU, till the next day, sunday around 2pm.
Wat we did, actually mostly is know our members, volunteers group mates n everyone who are going to Laos together. we spend time practising performances, doing gifts for the ppl in Laos and sleep together. around 1+am we slp. and we sleep in hall16 JamBand room. no specific area for us though. luckily i borrowed a slping bag from my fren.but at mid of night, dunno is curse of wat, its kinda errie though to dream of the owner of the bag. wahahhaa. only the owner knows..

Anyway, the next morning we went to do garang guni at boonlay. well, already my leg arnt fully recover yet, but i know i hav to attend this session, precamp trip as to know more ppl n prepare myself for Laos. so i bear with my pain. actually my leg arnt pain if i were to walk n walk, maybe the pain numb, or the vein just broke le. but when i stand still, the pain goes along with the heartbeat, *pump pump pump pump*. Ouch.

As u can see, the above 2 pics, not earth, not tiger skin.. kao, i know im tan..hahaha..its blue black on my right leg.shin there..
its taken just few mins ago, nothing scary, but some blue blacl, which is getting more n more obvious. as im tan, so i highlighted the bruises out. im already so tan yet still can see the deep bruise, imagine how much the wound hurts. my dad suspect that the blood vessel or some huge vein burst le..tts y after 1+ week.still nv recovers. wats more worst is, my rigth ankle, maybe cuz of the vein or wat.. the ankle is swollening more n more. though my injuries is at shin only.
So tml im going down to Polyclinic and do an X-Ray.bless me. hope it heals asap be4 i go Laos.

Recently came a new fellow in our camp. not very welcome by our fellowmates. not becuz he is not handsome nor is he not smart loooking.we accept that.but he just got tt fk up face tt no one will like. he is our new DXO, Gordon'sFrend(*not his real name), as requested not to be identified. well, he doesnt really has a high EQ despite he seems to look as if he holds high IQ, who cares.fk u 31yr old man.ok.he made his 1st appearance during our team building day and he tried to impress us; [well, us = sk (*not HER real name)] by doing alot of stupid talking. he likes to tell jokes which brings along some swords in his lines - aka sacastic + 讽刺, but well no one actually cares, only he laughs. sad to say. he holds a grant geographical position in the office, living in his own world, own chair, own 4 mice, own water tank,own tons of HR Management books, own..owned.. yeah he is owned.. pawned u beach. anyway, he ride a 4 wheel vehicle that resemble Adidas(*not his real name). both the same type.haix. all in all, family day is coming. therefore to show a token of appreciation and welcoming our new mate, we specially design this poster for him and will thus request his autograph beside it and hang it on his wall where he is facing. thats how we should go, thats how a team goes, thats how CLME goes. wake at 8 today, not to go camp but to go woodlands polyclinic to get 2 days mc. i cant walk but to hop there bit by bit. took 1 hour to reach there.how slow. and waited 2.5hrs to get a 2 day mc. luckily its free. damn. on my way i went to rent some shows. as listed below. shld be nice.

yes. finally after a year. this is my 3rd blog.

wanted to blog cuz its really too boring. with 2 broken toe nail and a limbing swollen shin, leg..
i cant walk for days. so stuck at home n came up an idea to blog.thanks to soccer soccer and soccer.
ytd saturday morning wake up went to play soccer at around 10am in my sickening condition, after which proceed to meet up with xy+ct for lunch n head for tuition till 5+pm. Went out for dinner and at 8pm, went to play soccer with eugene again. My god. thats when my right toe nail let loose n drop off and a guy wack my shin hard enough to cus it swollen. now i am limbing. yeah.
anyway,
the coding is killing me but still i took a whole day to pick my best skin n reedit the coding.
i am now fking hot warm n sweating like hell. though it rains. now 9pm. i shall bath, 4th time today.
and my leg hurts.
oh yes. i will add new post after im back from watering my body.
