Bad Bad Bad Day...

today is a bad bad day..

• 1st I waited for my dad to be home hoping to get car by 6pm inorder to reach Thank You Dinner at Buona vista by 7..dad called up and say will delay till 6.30pm than can reach home.

• than upon reaching, i step into the car, and began driving off ..gear1, Bang..i crash into a car. not crash but i knock into a car tt drove pass me, its my fault as i did not see it at my blind spot..damn..its just like the Pic..but minor damage wan..cuz we are at super low speed..the owner came down and we confronted eachother.But due to both of us in a rush, we exchange number and agree to settle the matter later. his car side got abit of scratches while my bumper there had some paint knocked off..SIAN..
  

• i went to pick ChingTing up and we speed off to Buona Vista..Suppose to go thru BKE to clementi rd..i was too worried about the crashing tt i drove to KJE..wah kao.damn suay..end up i need to do a big round to PIE to clementi rd..

• And wats worst.. i missed the exit..and headed to Lonie road. followed by Adams road.. and than to ferrar Rd..than to Commonwealth Rd...to Buona Vista MRT..and chingting counted for me.. 4 U turns i made..cuz i missed the exit...than Uturn..than miss again..

This Road i will rmb for Life..confirm..the whole journey took 1HR 30mins!!!!

• Reaching NTU alumni..the guy called me. Luckily he said let the matter ease off..and i apologize deeply. Phew..

only after this, than i peacefully sat down and enjoy the Thank You Dinner..
After that i send my frends back..going back only take 30mins man..
Shall not miss the exit again!..

During ancient time..the Readens are attacking the Sophics. There was a Huge wide thick river surrounding the castle and Sophics are defending, hiding in their castle, while Readens are just unable to breakthru the defence, unable to reach their castle..So the Readens decide to build a bridge and cross over to attack them. when the bridge is built, the Readens march across, due to rush of work, the bridge fall apart and all the soldiers drop into the huge currents..The Sophcis, this time, we ordered to jump down, to save them,bring them back to castle and provide medical care n food,after which, release them back. Days later, when the Readens decide to attack Sophics again, the soldiers felt bad. the Readens have no choice, but to retreat.

One day, in the train. A guy notice a son crying damn loudly and his father,beside him, just kept quiet. Irritated by the long cries of the son after awhile. He apporach the father:
"hey, ur son is crying and y arnt u doing anything?"
Father replied :" Yes, I would really like to do something, but 2 hours ago, his mum just died"

A king, notice a sparrow kept eating away his peach in his garden. Super piss off, he order the entire country to kill any visible sparrow. each member of the family at least kill 4. All sparrows are gone. But, his peaches are all rotten n gone also, cuz the worms ate them all.

during an interview, the manager have to employ only 1. So he decide to ask a question to determine their fate. 3 of them stood and listen. "if u walk to a bathroom, open the door and realise a girl was bathing, wat will you do?"
A answered:" i'll say im sorry lady"
B answered:" i'll say im sorry lady too and close the door n walk off"
C answered:"I'll say Im sorry sir.."
C got employed..Do u know why?

Once theres a general who likes to play chess, using his warfare tactics and strategy, he never lose be4 in a game. 1 day, On his way to war, he walked pass a hut and saw a banner, "world CHess Champion". He dun believe and walked in to challenge. 3 rounds, and he won all. Stepping out of hut he said:" looks like u shld burn this banner." and he walk his way to battle. few months after he won the war, he returns castle and notice the banner still up. He walk in and challenge again. This time he lost all 3. The man said,
" that time u are on ur way to war with ur army, i purposely lose so tt u wun feel low morale and can win a battle to defend our land. now that u win the battle, i will not let loose on u"
看似输，实是赢，还是赢。他让出赢的荣耀，以大局为重。


Sotong, aka Squid. Sprays black soot to escape away from predator/enemy in sea. One day,he was being attack and he did the same thing. Phew, he escaped!. =) But out of the water, from the bird's eye view, the bird notice a black soot and knew there was a squid there, it dash down and caught the squid.
防不胜防。同一招，不能对付所有敌人。要随机应变。


In OCBC building, Singapore. The business is so good, that every morning the 2 lifts, 1 and only 2 lifts are always crowded with ppl. Everyone ended up reaching their office late, rushes for meeting all. So a meeting was held to discuss the solution to this prob. everyone suggested solutions on more lifts, blablabla..everything about lifts..or layout of floor plan. which cannot be done as buidling structure is already fixed. Suddenly came in one latecomer, CEO asked:"how come u are late, just now at the lift wat are u doing?"
He answered " i was fixing my tie,hair blabla and ensure i have a proper tidy image."
the CEO gets it. From then on, CEO put several huge mirrors near the lifts wall. and the complains of ppl waiting..reduced,vanished.

today hall9 celebrate mid autumn festi.. i was saboed by ppl to go challenge eating mooncake.
filled with a pack of big noodles in my stomach already, today i ate another 5 big tradition mooncakes...i fking wanna puke already. even my fart got mooncake smell..i bet tonight i will formed while i slp half way..

A Book

Got this book from my Fren，Qi Min... She knows i read chinese books. Haha.
Its a nice book. Short stories. Relaly short. 5 min can read finish a story.
let me share some which i feel.. . that we shld learn.

观点.
3 of us happen to reach a village. Seeing a mum at the roadside helping her kid to ease of the pain on his head, I told them: They must be mother and son relationship. Both frends agreed n said mum's love is so great,deep.
The next day, we saw another lady also tapping her son's head brushing off the dirt. I jokingly said: She must be the step mother!" Yet, Both frends agree and said: "see how she torture her kid, damn"
我们常常有先入为主的关念。人的身份不一样，议论也不同。

孔夫子。
During war season, country is lack of Rice n food. Oneday Mr 孔 walk pass the kitchen and saw his pupils preparing their dinner. When the rice are ready to serve, he witness XiaoLi grabbing a handfull of rice n put them in his mouth. Mr 孔 felt angry. During feast time, at dining table, Mr 孔 pretened and told XiaoLi: since we had our rice just cooked out and its clean, lets offer it and pray to our 祖先 1st.
XiaoLi immdly said: NO Cannot!. Unclean. Becuz just now while cooking a patch of dirt drop into the pot. I grab tt handfull of rice and swollen it away, throwing away is too wasted.
Mr 孔 felt he shldnt hav blame him in heart be4 he asked.
眼睛看到的，未必能全然相信。看人伦事，不能凭一时的印象和主观的猜想！

电梯
A manager is on rush and board a lift. pressed lvl 25 on the lift. Came along a playful Kid who enters the same lift as Manager. Kid pressed ALL the levels from 2 to 25. therefore every single level, the lift stops once, untill it reaches 25. Manager is So furious that he stomp out of the lift at lvl 25. while the kids smile their way out.
One Felt happy while the other felt angry? 搭电梯是这小孩的目的，所以他乐在其中。经理的目的是别的，所以不耐烦。如果人生就像登山。心中只有登到山顶这个目的时，我们就无心欣赏风景了。辛苦奋斗达到目的时，才发现丧失的比得到的还要多。
太过重视未来，往往会忽略现在。

My thought as a student, myself.

Was chatting with one of freshie and was sharing with her my thoughts about life in NTU 5mins, so decide to list it down here be4 i forget..

Everyone can study, and coming to NTU is not about studying only. everyone can get degree, inside n out of NTU. The main thing is: Its about Learning to manage ur time/life, and organise ur piority + social skill. Staying at hall benefits cuz u experience n learn more. At an interview A hav a degree, B hav a degree. but B stands out as B stays hall, B learn to manage/organise its time, work, schedule under crucial situation like near exam period when hall events are still running; which would be a benefit to the company. B holds a degree + stays hall, C holds a degree, stays hall & C Join many hall events/projs/CCA. C stands out as not only C learns management/organising of his own time, he also interact more and master his social + managing human skills; like coordinating with other heads, chair person and witness responsibilities and work load floating around. So since u step into Uni, dun miss the chance to try, be advanturous. dun worry tt u cant study hard or would fail. cuz if u can get in here, means u hav the ability and will be able to do it. everyone are adults here. everyone practices displine & know their limits. So dun be ATs~..

Books i read...

I went to my cousin's house, his dad is a CEO, and tt i saw him reading this. so i borrowed and after which, i went to buy them. it teaches u how to survive in a political association. how to back-stab boss tactically. or perhaps how to detect backstabber thru learning those skills..haha. a very powerful book. below are some samples =)

【皮鞋的来历】

很久很久以前，人类都还赤着双脚走路。


有一位国王到某个偏远的乡间旅行，因为路面崎岖不平，有很多碎石头，刺得他的脚又痛又麻。回到王宫后，他下了一道命令，要将国内的所有道路都铺上一层牛皮。他认为这样做，不只是为自己，还可造福他的人民，让大家走路时不再受刺痛之苦。


但即使杀尽国内所有的牛，也筹措不到足够的皮革，而所花费的金钱、动用的人力，更不知凡几。虽然根本做不到，甚至还相当愚蠢，但因为是国王的命令，大家也只能摇头叹息。


一位聪明的仆人大胆向国王提出建言：「国王啊！为什么您要劳师动众，牺牲那么多头牛，花费那么多金钱呢？您何不只用两小片牛皮包住您的脚呢？」国王听了很惊讶，但也当下领悟，于是立刻收回成命，改采这个建议。据说，这就是「皮鞋」的由来。
